Trucks or Vans, Fleets or One-offs
GEL produce and fit a variety of types of vehicle graphics including:
- solid cut vinyl text and logos
- thermally printed spot colour or full colour logos
- large format full colour solvent printed graphics
At quotation stage we will recommend to you the best method of production. Consideraion will be given to the type of graphic i.e. cut or printed or both and the surface it will be applied to i.e. flat, curved, rivets etc.
The majority of the graphics on the Buckingham Fleet and the RA Ford vehicle was best produced from solid colour vinyl's with a small amount of thermally printed graphics where appropriate.
The graphics produced and fitted to the fleet of Recycle Trucks for Brent Council (which was produced and fitted on behalf of our client Cottier & Sidaway Design Partnership www.cottiersidawaydesign.co.uk) was mainly full colour solvent print which was finished with a UV grade laminate to help reduce fade whilst also adding extra protection to the graphics - a necessity due to the constant cleaning regime that is undertaken by the Council.
Vehicle Wraps
We design, supply and fit vehicle wraps which means that virtually the whole vehicle is covered in a full colour graphic image. Typical examples of these are taxis and Smart Cars that are widely used for advertising purposes but this type of graphics can also be appropriate for larger vehicles such as Transits and even buses where full advertising graphics is required.
Latest purchase
We have recently purchased the Mimaki JV3-130SP solvent print and cut package. We are now capable of die cut and kiss-cut stickers in full colour as well as full colour graphics for cars, trucks and buses!
